Get out the Kayak, Put away the jet ski..
Lakes offer the possibility of saving gas, big time. Beach the gas guzzlers. Take out the sailboat, the canoe, the kayak, the rowboat. forget the gas guzzlers. Let's fight back. Let's cut gas consumption. They think we are weak and sulg indulgent and that we'll be on out knees begging for gas a any price. Let's show them we're not. we're tough and we can walk, bicycle, car pool it. The time is now. Car Pool It once a week. Let us know.

Good idea but.... self indulgence is a national disease. Baron, the German Shepherd, and I try to do long a long woodsy hike each day. He smells around to find interesting things, and I use my binocs to looke for birds.
