Heat Wave in NH
Today we're having a heat wave: 25' when we took our afternoon walk. I didn't wear gloves and never felt the cold until after about a half hour I tried to follow Big Dog as he ploughed through the nearly 3 feet of snow. Big mistake. Fell, feet got stuck in the deep snow, had to use my hands to push myself out. Whew! What penetrating cold. How do they do it, these animals? Including the squirrel. And here below is our connection to the outside world. We do appreciate him. He never lets us down.

We too are having a heat wave, 41' but it is supposed to drop back down to 19' tomorrow. That squirrel is pretty brave. Have fun =)
That is too cold for us! Glad you weren't hurt when you fell!
You live in a beautiful place. Wish we could get some snow. Great looking GSD too! Stop by see Greta sometime.
First time visitor enjoyed seeing your beautiful pictures of winter in New England. I have a really "big dog" too. His name is Baron (a GSD) and he invites you to stop by and see him as he is often featured on troutbirder.
